Mary Prossor’s Will
This is the last will and testament of me Mary Prossor of 5 Bugle Street Southampton widow. I appoint my daughter Fannie Louise Emily Kent executrix of this my will. I bequeath all my plate linen china glass wearing apparel books pictures prints furniture and other household effects and all my jewellery unto my said daughter Fannie Louise Emily Kent for her own use and benefit absolutely .I also give unto my said daughter for her own use and benefit absolutely all monies paid by my son in law Charles Phillips of Bowling Green House Southampton aforesaid and upon which he pays no interest such monies being part of my marriage portion given to me by my late father George Baker Esquire. I also give devise and bequeath all the residue of my personal estate and effects and all my real estate whatsoever and theresoever (including all property over which I may have any power of appointment) unto my said daughter for her own use and benefit absolutely And lastly I hereby revoke all former wills made by me and declare this to be my last will and testament
IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 30th day of September one thousand eight hundred and eighty nine.
