The oldest name in this line is believed to be a Samuel Bramhil, possibly the father of James, Patrick and Mary.
James George Bramhill b 31.12.1899, Mary Bramhill b 1903, Patrick Bramhill b 1905 were brought up in St Edward's orphanage, Liverpool. The orphanage records were destroyed in the Second World War blitz on Liverpool.
James George Bramhill married Sarah Jane Watson. He died of cancer at 64 two weeks after Sarah's death.
Patrick John Bramhill was taken to Vancouver, Canada, as an orphan. He married Helen and worked as superintendent of Brooksbank Laboratories, a dairy company of Eburne BC. Died 1942.

When they joined the Canadian armed forces, they reverted to their birth name. John and Mike switched back to Blaney after completing military service. The brothers have a stepbrother, David Blaney, a full son to step-father Winston.
