More on the Huyton Bramhalls
Huyton today is part of modern Liverpool, but until the early 1800s, it would have been a rural area serving the growing centre of the current city.
We're not sure how long the Bramhall family lived in Huyton, but the oldest record we have so far is the baptism on April 28, 1667, of Thomas son of Thomas Bramhall of Huyton. This is from Baptisms at St Michael in the District of Huyton, Liverpool, Baptisms recorded in the Register for the years 1578 - 1727. You can see them here.
