If you've arrived here, you're probably researching the Liverpool Bramhills, or the Bramhalls, the Bramalls, the Bremells ... there are so many variants it is utterly confusing.
For starters, the Broomhalls and the Epworth Bramhills appear to be different families. Click the links to go to their websites.
It is almost certain that most Liverpool Bramhills were originally Bramhalls - the name being pronounced Bram'all or Bram'ull - and that their ancestors came from the Bramhall hall estate, outside Stockport. These are the Bramhalls and Bramhills that this section of the site focuses on.
